An economical light modulator for wavefront correction

32 actuators, 1.5–2.25 mm aperture, 1.5–5.5 µm stroke. The compact and affordable Mini-DM is ideal for laboratory-scale adaptive optics and proof-of-concept wavefront control. The active mirror area is deformed by thirty-two electrostatic actuators and can reach frame rates up to 1 kHz with our fully-integrated controller and user-friendly interface.
